At IL Studio, we never back down from a challenge—and this project is proof of that.

None of us had ever taken a single tango step, yet we were asked to design the logo for Metropolitango, the global community connecting tango dancers, schools and festivals around the world.

The challenge was to create an elegant pictogram that could express the values of tango while remaining striking, distinctive and instantly recognisable on a global scale. The founder, Barbara Cicero, was delighted with the result, making all the work worthwhile.

Every opportunity is a chance to expand our knowledge, and we were more than happy to dive into this unexplored world.
